In order to preserve and maintain a minimum pollution of the SEM chamber, NewTec has developed an ex situ chamber allowing the visualisation at 360° for thermal or thermomechanical samples tests, with unpredictable behavior under temperature stress. It is designed to work with the MT1000 tensile/compression stage that can perform tests up to 1000°C, the ExoSEM system allows you to perform thermo-mechanical testing experiments in high or low vacuum conditions, or under oxidinsing or reducing atmospheres.

The ExoSEM can also be used as a screening tool, whereby you can test samples ex situ and refine which samples need to be tested in situ in your SEM.
