We realise that standard systems may not fit the needs for every lab, so we also offer XtaLAB Synergy Custom single crystal X-ray diffractometers for those labs who want to take advantage of dual ports or want to integrate special components, such as ACTOR sample changers. The XtaLAB Synergy-Custom is configured with a MicroMax-007HF by default. The XtaLAB Synergy Custom may also be configured with an FR-X generator, for laboratories that want even greater flux!
You also have your choice of detectors from the HyPix range of Hybrid Photon Counting detectors that offer 0D, 1D and 2D measurement modes that can be switched seamlessly with the click of a mouse. This includes the HyPix-6000HE or the wide angle HyPix-Arc100° or HyPix-Arc150°.
Dual Port Capability
The XtaLAB Synergy Custom single crystal XRD system includes a dual port, microfocus rotating anode X-ray generator. With XtaLAB Synergy Custom systems, you can configure to have dual single crystal ports or you can configure the second port with a small angle X-ray scattering system, such as the BioSAXS-2000nano. Additionally, the XtaLAB Synergy Custom comes in a custom designed enclosure with your choice of table size, to accommodate accessory equipment, such as an ACTOR system or microscope close to the goniometer. Thus, the versatility offered by the XtaLAB Synergy Custom system provides the most flexibility possible for your structural biology program.

Intelligent Goniometer Head 2 (IGH 2)
Motorised Goniometer Head with Automated Optical Object Centering
Rigaku launched a new version of their fantastic IGH motorised goniometer head at the IUCr 2023 conference in melbourne. This new version adds encoders to enable automatic X-ray centering for those who struggle to see their samples. It enables users to centre samples, hand-free with the cabinet doors closed in just a few sounds.
They have also improved their AI-based optical sample centering, which already had a fantastic success rate. Rigaku engineers have even managed to reduce the size of the IGH 2, despite packing in a more capabilities!
