Submit Your Image for a Chance to Win

Submit a scientific image captured using a microscope or imaging system supplied by AXT for a chance to win. Entries can be generated by light microscopy, X-ray imaging, electron microscopy or preclinical imaging systems.

Prizes

• 1st prize: $500
• 2nd prize: $250
• 3rd prize: $100
• Best SEM image: $500 sponsored by TESCAN

Entries close December 31, 2026
Public voting will run from January 1 to January 31 2027
Winners will be announced and prizes presented at the AXT Social Event at ACMM29

Terms and conditions

Entrants must read and agree to these terms and conditions before submitting.

• The competition is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand
• All fields on the submission form must be completed
• Submitted images must be captured using an imaging system supplied by AXT PTY LTD
• Images must be high-resolution (Max. 10Mb)
• Images must have been captured by the person submitting them
• AXT reserves the right to omit entries at their discretion
• No branding/marking is allowed on images aside from the institution where the image was captured and the instrument brand
• No AI generated or enhanced images will be accepted
• JPG or PNG files only
• Maximum 4 entries per person, with 1 entry per submission
• Employees of AXT are not eligible for financial prizes
• Copyright remains the property of the entrant, but by submitting an image, the entrant affords AXT the use of the image and it may be reproduced or used by AXT (as supplied or modified) for social media, web site or other marketing channels
