Y-Fi™ products are based on a briefcase-size, rugged platform, are engineered for hands-free operation, and are distinguished from the competition by their ultrashort pulse duration for µJ-level pulsed fiber lasers: 80-200 fs, and even shorter using an integrated OPA.

    • Ultra-short, clean pulses. 100-200 fs pulse length with low pulse pedestal gives improved performance for driving nonlinear optical interactions: optimum efficiency at lower pulse energy/average power
    • High power and pulse energies. Average power: 20 W / 35 W (Y-Fi HP / Y-Fi Ultra). Pulse energies up to > 20 μJ, with custom higher power systems available. Both pulse duration and pedestal energy content are guaranteed to ensure each laser pulse is free of picosecond background that robs energy from the main short pulse.
    • Intuitive GUI. Graphical, intuitive software control with integrated diagnostics that provides pulse width precompensation to optimize your experiment with no external prisms or gratings
    • Tunable and stable. Tunable repetition rate (0.5-15, 60 MHz) and stable over a large temperature range (16-26°C) with a small optical head footprint (~ 30 x 45 cm)
