The Hirox HRX-02 Takes Digital Microscopy to the Next Level

Hirox, who pioneered digital microscopy, continue to innovate with the introduction of the HRX-02. It builds on the successful platform introduced with the HRX-01 and includes even higher levels of automation and zoom levels from 0.1 to 10000x well into the realms of SEM without the need for complex sample preparation and imaging in vacuum. The HRX-02 produces high-fidelity images with exceptional clarity, in true colour, suitable for a range of applications ranging from automotive and aerospace, to electronics, to life science and medical research.

One of the main innovations with this new system is the RVOMAX motorised turret lens, which incorporates the lenses, camera and lighting. It comes macro, mid range and objective lenses supporting zoom levels from 10 to 7000x. It also provides ring, coaxial and mixed illumination lighting options and offers multiple integrated lighting and filter options. This range of configurations offers incredible flexibility for imaging various specimen types while delivering higher resolution at higher magnifications.

The HRX-02 seamlessly integrates the lens, magnification, adapter, camera, motorised stand, and motorised stage. By synchronising all the components, the HRX-02 delivers high-definition imaging and intuitive operation, providing a smooth and comfortable magnified observation experience.

The system can be optioned with a vast array Hirox zoom and macro zoom lenses to suit your specific application, as well as Hirox’s patented 360° rotary head adapter, which offers alternative inspection options. Hirox have also developed a range of manual or motorised XYZ  stands and gantries for examining large and non-horizontal objects, with the ability to stitch images together.

The HRX-02 can also be used a metrology tool with the addition of the Nano Point Scanner (NPS). It combines a non-contact 3D measurement system with a high-precision motorised stage. In doing so, it allows surface measurements of various objects with submicron accuracy. It works on any material and is ISO certified for roughness measurements.

The culmination of over 40 years of optical manufacturing experience, the HRX-02 offers increased levels of automation and versatility. With an enviable range of lenses and accessories that communicate seamlessly with an intuitive software interface, Hirox’s latest system brings enjoyment and performance to microscopy.
