Tube Disposal and Repair
Disposal
X-ray tubes contain hazardous materials such as Beryllium and Lead. Some tubes also contain cancer causing insulating oils.
AXT will receive dead X-ray tubes. The standard cost is US$150 per tube, although this can vary for some tube types. Disposal certificates can also be issued for tracking purposes. Please contact AXT for a quote.
We also re-engineer some tubes and offer credits for these tubes against future orders. These include Philips, Toshiba and Siemens side window tubes as well as Philips and Siemens end window tubes.
